I want to be a dentist :)

The dental profession at a young age has caught my attention.  The function that has a dentist is to ensure the health of the mouth, teeth and gums of their patients.  In addition, every six months checking their patients to see if they have cavities.  Also, they prevent problems with teeth or mouth tissue.  Examining X-rays, teeth straightening and repair teeth.  A dentist also performs operations such as removing wisdom teeth. A dentist has a profession which is very hard to get bored. It is very interesting the order they have in their office. On the other hand, the cleaning must have in that office to prevent disease.

Contamination

Today, environmental pollution is one of the most serious problems affecting Mother Nature.  It is noteworthy that pollution affects a greater or lesser degree to all points on the planet. But greatly affects the health of us humans.  There is a direct connection between environmental changes with global warming and major threats to health.  Today, pollution has reached an end, if not opted to take action, we will continue to affect us greatly, both our health and the environment.  However, the problem of air quality is a serious matter because there care for the health of citizens, particularly of the lungs.

Some directly, researchers have come to associate diabetes with pollution. Their relationship is based on the contact we have human beings biphenyls. Biphenyls are solid organic compound formed colorless way yellow crystals. It also has a very pleasant aroma. According to the researchers, they affect the regulation and insulin production.

Pollution also causes other diseases. For example, respiratory diseases such as pneumonia, bronchitis and asthma. In addition, pollution also helps develop yellow fever, hepatitis and dengue. High levels of air pollution cause disease in the circulatory system and lung cancer.

It is time to take action and control pollution on our planet. It is sad to see how we kill ourselves slowly, either for money or enjoy. Pollution is a major worldwide event.

Traffic of human organs

According Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking the definition of trafficking of organ human is a crime that occurs in three broad categories. Firstly, there are cases where traffickers force or deceive the victims into giving up an organ. Secondly, there are cases where victims formally or informally agree to sell an organ and are cheated because they are not paid for the organ or are paid less than the promised price. Thirdly, vulnerable persons are treated for an ailment, which may or may not exist and thereupon organs are removed without the victim's knowledge.   Trafficking in organ trade is an organized crime, involving a host of offenders. The recruiter who identifies the vulnerable person, the transporter, the staff of the hospital/ clinic and other medical centres, the medical professionals, the middlemen and contractors, the buyers, the banks where organs are stored are all involved in the racket.
Thanks to scientific advances and breakthroughs that have been achieved, today we can see how the organ transplant can save the lives of many people. However, due to the high demand for organs worldwide, this advance q achieved science has been overshadowed, as criminal networks have extended their activities to obtain human organs illegally, through coercion or payment of money. Often criminals who practice this trade do not mind living donor. This criminal business is called the "Black Market".
The human body has become a commodity, a mere object under the unscrupulous manipulation of people just looking to make money. Generally, they choose poor people, defenseless children, looking for cash, selling some of their organs.  We often hear about the case of someone who was deceived or abducted and then appeared in a tub of ice, with a note suggesting to go to a medical center that had been removed some organ.  We can also see cases where children disappear and never again know his whereabouts.  Remarkably, this organ trafficking is the product of an illicit trade, well organized through global criminal networks engaged in poor countries find poor people who consider as an option selling an organ to survive during a time.  The report in which the ONU says the organ most sought is the kidney, but also offers the "Black Market": corneas, heart, pancreas, lungs and livers, and other bodily substances such as blood, plasma or spinal cords.

Items required in the digestive system

In general, the animals are divided into three categories: herbivores, carnivores and omnivores.  Herbivores are those mainly feed on algae and plants.  Carnivores are all animals that eat other animals. Omnivores are those that eat other animals, algae and plants also. In conclusion, all animals feed on different food sources. It's important to have on mind, foods are consumed for the collection of nutrients, minerals, vitamins, etc.

The diet of an animal provides chemical energy, organic molecules and essential nutrients.  Animals require 20 amino acids which are obtained from meat, eggs, cheese, etc.  All essential amino acids are complete proteins.  Also, animals can synthesize fatty acids most needed.  As well, like the 20 amino acids we need also need 13 essential vitamins.  These vitamins are classified as soluble or fat soluble.  The soluble vitamins: B complex and vitamin C.    Fat-soluble vitamins are vitamin A, D, E and K.  Furthermore, minerals usually required in small quantities. Minerals should be consumed in small amounts due to ingestion of large amounts can alter the homeostatic balance.

Factors affecting speed

The factors that affect the speed delas reactions is present kinetic energy is present. Kinetic energy is the study of different types of chemical reactions in the world.  Similarly, the kinetic energy controls the reaction rate, and the means or mechanism by which a reaction proceeds its reactive products.  It is important to note that the collision theory states that for a reaction molecules or ions must contact occurs, first, what is meant as a collision.  Most of the time, the higher the concentration, the greater the collision and the more quickly.

Furthermore, there may be four to five factors that can control the speed of a chemical reaction.  In the laboratory I made this week, was studied: the nature of the reagents, the temperature of a chemical system, presence of a catalyst, concentration of reactants and the surface area.   It is noteworthy that a catalyst is a substance that is not consumed in a chemical reaction.

Calorimetry

In the study of science, a very important concept to understand is the power.  All objects have energy.  Energy can be defined as the inner work.  We can interpret the meaning of power as the ability to do work.  Another related concept is the heat energy transferred from a warmer to a cooler object.  Heat can be exothermic or endothermic.

Furthermore, in Calorimetry it is present a calorimeter.  This object is an instrument used to measure the energy changes of chemical reactions.  The amounts of energy needed in several physical changes can also be measured in a calorimeter.  Additionally, in Calorimetry it is present the concept of enthalpy.  This is a state function associated with the heat absorbed or released in a process or constant pressure.  The change in enthalpy that occurs when carried out a chemical reaction, mainly due to the energy required to break chemical bonds in the reactants and the energy produced by forming chemical bonds in the products.

Heart Failure

Heart failure is the imbalance between the heart's ability to pump blood and the body's needs.  Also, there is a chronic reduced pressure. Symptoms of heart failure usually develop over time as your heart weakens and can not pump blood your body needs. The reasons why people suffer from heart failure is that your muscle can not pump (eject) blood from the heart very well. This is called systolic heart failure.  Furthermore, the myocardium is rigid and not easily filled with blood. This is called diastolic heart failure.

To control heart failure, there are several treatments.  A simple treatment is to change the lifestyle, whether quitting smoking, limiting salt intake, lose weight and reduce the level of effort.  Another serious drug treatment, which ACE inhibitors, which make the heart work less intensity is used.  It is also beta-blockers, which is the treatment of disorders of heart rhythm.  On the other hand, they include anticoagulants, are in inhibiting blood clotting.  Finally, they include diuretics, cause the elimination of water and sodium using urine or feces.

Another treatment that helps fight heart failure is cardiac resynchronization therapy. It consists of cardiac resynchronization pacemaker.   Pacemakers are sending painless electrical impulses to the ventricles to help beat in a coordinated manner.  And finally, the treatment of cardiac surgery, which takes into account whether the case is advanced.  If heart failure worse by a weak valve, it is considered heart surgery to repair or replace the valve.  If the case is too serious, it is considered the heart transplant.

Heart failure has as consequences difficulties of physical activity, walking, running or climbing stairs.  Also, feel that you needed breathing.  This condition is related to the fact that the heart has less capacity than it should have in order to pump blood.  We must make several changes in our lifestyle and habits, such as cooking without salt, avoid alcohol, smoking, watch weight, exercise and relax.

Chemical Contraceptive Method

Earlier, I spoke of barrier contraceptive methods and some examples.  Also, I mentions two examples of barrier methods of contraception and the only contraceptive method is hundred percent safe sexual abstinence.  However, in this blog I will be talking about chemical contraceptive methods, which work with spermicides. Spermicides are chemicals that are placed in the vagina before each intercourse. It's function is to prevent the passage of sperm into the matrix, inactivating them before they enter the cervical canal.  It is important to note that the duration of effect is one hour. There are three types of spermicides: eggs (also called tablets or vaginal suppositories), creams or jellies and spray foam.

The eggs do not have immediate protection, should be placed at the bottom of the vagina and the protection lasts about an hour.  On the other hand, contraceptive foams and creams are recommended to be used with condoms so that their effectiveness is higher.  They are placed before intercourse taking immediate protection and its effectiveness lasts about an hour.

Barrier Method of Contraception

Both sex as the topic of contraception have been taboo in society durantes hundreds of years. Today, that self-consciousness has greatly decreased allowing the flow of further information. This result is of great importance as it brings from prevention of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) to unwanted pregnancies. However, there are different types of contraception. In this blog I will discuss contraception barrier.  They are defined as those who for a physical mechanism, preventing the union of sperm and egg.

For example, one of the contraceptive is the diaphragm.  It's a cap of soft and flexible silicone a shallow arc also flexible and coated with silicon metal thereof. This contraceptive method is directed to the female gender.    The function has is to block the passage of sperm into the uterus and prevent the movement of sperm with spermicide.  It has advantages: has no effects on female hormones, is placed before intercourse and can be used during lactation.  Also it has disadvantages: difficulty in use, must be used with a spermicide does not prevent disease and increases the risk of urinary tract infections.

Another barrier method of contraception is the condom. The condom is intended for both the female gender to the male gender.  The condom acts as a barrier that prevents the passage of sperm, bacteria a
nd the HIV / AIDS virus. Therefore it is a method used to prevent pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections and HIV / AIDS.

It is very important to inform us about different contraceptive methods available.  However, no contraceptive method is one hundred percent safe. But if there is a method which we young we should practice more often. This method is sexual abstinence. The only method that is one hundred percent safe.

Kinetics

The chemistry of studying the velocity or speed with which chemical reactions pass is chemical kinetics, and refers to the variation of the concentrations of reactants and products with time.   The speed of the reactions may vary, both slow and fast, ready in nanoseconds.  The chemical reaction can be termed as the change in concentration of the reagent as melting time; that is, a faster reaction, increased concentration change.  Some substances have a faster chemical reaction than others due to their nature; and that is why they have a faster chemical change.  Another factor that can increase the reaction rate is by applying a catalyst.  A catalytic element is one that increases the rate of a chemical reaction without being consumed by this reaction.

In the laboratory performing with my partners
laboratory on chemical kinetics, we concluded that the higher temperature and higher concentration (molarity), collision or contact between the molecules will be higher, so there will be more quickly the reaction occurs.
